BACK
AGAIN
Sweet Chariot, the Salford
based cabaret group, are returning to The Willows for the
sixth time on Thursday.
The group’s three members,
Pete Oliver (drums), Ronnie Grundy (bass) and John Turner
(keyboards), have had an exiting time since they last
appeared in Salford.
Their EP, which is due to
be released in October, includes two of their own songs,
written by John Turner. The songs are called “Angelina” and
“Young at Heart” and the other side features an eight minute
version of “America”.
The boys will also be
joining television star Ayshea to support Demis Roussos
during his British tour. This will give them the chance to
appear at the Palladium for four nights and also at Belle
Vue.
Sweet Chariot’s LP,
“Memoir”, which was recorded last year, will be on sale for
the first time in Salford at The Willows.
Admission is £1 and
tickets are available in advance from The Willows.
