Rare Seeds' Pendleton and weaste based Salford band consisting of Tony
Platt (vocals), Paul Wallworth (guitar), Yuseph Din (keyboards) and
Craig Warburton on bass. The band were only together for a brief
period but managed to play a couple of gigs, one at the Salisbury on
Trafford road, and another at the Lowry, Langley Rd. South (supporting
August of Simplicity). Only a handful of songs were written including
'Searchlight', 'Ambitions' and 'Rare Seeds.' Rehearsing at Craig's
house in weaste and sometimes at the rehearsal rooms opposite 'The
House that Jack Built' in broughton along with Ray Mungins (see
gallery)
on Drums. The bands brief appearance on the local band scene was an
excellent stepping stone onto better things, with Tony and Paul
forming 'Voice Culture' and Yuseph becoming a prolific
singer/songwriter. |
