playin' hooky in salford
by jc. 09.04.10.
Mr Peter Hook, he of shin-height slung bass is returning to play his
home town on May 1st at The Lowry.
It's all part of his road show in which he will be regaling the audience with tragi-comic tales of
Factory Records,
Joy Division,
New Order and
The Hacienda. No doubt he'll be flogging copies of his new book too.

The evening will include previously unseen footage of all
of the above plus some outtakes from the film "24 Hour Party People" alongside music and chat. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask
stupid and pointless questions to the man himself, or perhaps, some pertinent and intelligent questions if he's lucky.
The whole shebang is being hosted/compered
by Mr Howard Marks so it could well be a hoot!
Details of how to book a seat at the show and see some official blurb (as opposed to my unofficial drivel) then just click HERE.
