Helmets for Men returns this Saturday night (30th Jan) for its second outing of Salford-centric musical bliss. Islington Mill will be the hosts again and there are three Salford-based acts for your delectation. So, who's on the bill this time?
Well, according to Islington Mill's excellent website; this is how they line up...

The Inflicters (or Inflictors?) are
fronted by Psychedelic Folk Bluesman Cameron
O'Hagan. For the last eighteen months
Cameron has been building up a steady
following with his solo shows. He's now
decided its time to go full on electric and
added a bassist, drummer and rhythm
guitarist who recently blew the doors of the
King's Arms. If you like 60's Garage and
Psych don't miss this opening act.

Sandbox have been described as
many things in the past but lets get it
right. This is sexy indie power pop executed
with attitude and intelligence. Guitarist
and singer Lennie is surely one of the most
exciting and charismatic front-women and
song writers since.........erm! Well just
come and decide for yourselves.

Death to the Strange fuse
lyric-driven, folky tunes with ambient
electronic sounds and effects. With
instrumentation tailored to each tune, the
band
are looking to take in and build on all the
interesting music out there. Live, the band
has been creating a stir with full-on, beat
driven tunes mixed in with experimental
acoustic pieces.
