Graham Gouldman: born 10 May 1946, Broughton , Salford.

Gouldman played in a number of Manchester bands from 1963, including The High Spots, The Crevattes, The Planets, The Whirlwinds and The Mockingbirds. He also wrote countless top ten hits for artists such as The Hollies, Herman's Hermits, The Yardbirds, Cher and Jeff Beck before eventually making his name as one of the founder members of 10cc.
