First Offenders Biography (from www.first-offenders.com)

First Offenders, the Salford/Manchester based rock 'n' roll band are formed from the remnant of Salford 'Council House Rock' band Poets Corner. Poz Williams (Vocals) and Kev McCormack (Guitar), all Poets veterans formed First Offenders in May 2008. Luke Gould (Bass), Mike Devaney (Guitar) and Aaron Youd completed the line-up meeting the band in July 2008. After their first jam that month the band blasted through songs Didley Town (a controversial song about partying) and This One's For You (Poz's soulful ode to his recently deceased father Alan 'Wilber' Williams R.I.P.). After seeing people in the room with them buzzing off the music First Offenders knew they were onto a very good thing. First Offenders debut gig was at Taylor's Club in Eccles and once again the small audience were blown away and the band were completely on one, everyone knew it was right.
