The official launch of the Salford Music
Co-operative takes place this coming Bank Holiday weekend at The
Kings Arms on
Bloom Street.
Following last month's resounding success at Sounds From the Other City, the Co-op is bursting with confidence and energy and there are lots of people working hard behind the scenes to make the coming weekend a real bazzer.
It all kicks off on Sunday 30th May at 5.30pm with some quality live
acts. Here's the line-up folks:
Sunday 30th May
Death to the Strange,
John Herring, The Violet Bones,
Briggzy,
Push Kodi,
The Unguarded Moment.
Monday 31st May
Whipcord, The Brink,
Sandbox, Mr. Heart, China White,
The Abstracts.
The whole shebang will cost you just £4 (for 2 nights and 12 bands!) if you stump up in advance or a fiver if you just want to pay on the door. Tickets can be ordered/put aside by John Herring HERE.
The Salford Music Co-op is still in its infancy but has many more
plans to promote music in Salford and to help create and maintain a
vibrant scene in the city. If you want to be involved in any way then
you can contact John H or come along to the next Co-op meeting. You can
join the Facebook group
HERE and receive regular updates regarding
meetings, events etc.
